| SchoolScrool (pronounced as 'scroll') is a new medium for giving students access to a large selection of academic and social resources. Its main purpose is interaction. Rather networking as some of us might like to call it. Open only to school and college students, it keeps the ‘outside’ clutter away from the student’s lives. Students are stuck with the dilemma of which stream to pick, how lucrative is a particular career, how to study abroad, how to study in order to produce good results in competitive examinations. SchoolScroll would help the students get answers to these questions. Not only do the students get to communicate with students from other schools, SchoolScrool shall also feature ex city toppers, guidance counselors and academic advisors to answer questions that students might have. SchoolScrool would also lay the foundation for the development a alumni network. This network would be useful to graduates when they are looking for a job, want to get another job, hire employees with similar 'schooling background' or are simply seeking contact with other old-students. As of now, people with a valid email address from a supported college or school can register on SchoolScrool. Alumni's can register by invitation only. |
